Tel n'est cependant pas le cas de Jim, un jeune homme solitaire ayant perdu sa femme, isolé au sein de la zone rouge, qui essaiera d'échapper aux zombies mangeurs de chair dans une tentative désespérée de reconquérir sa liberté et de trouver peut-être d'autres survivants...
